The good news? Director Catherine Hardwicke knows it’s cheesy, and she does what she can to contain the fromage. “Twilight” is packed with wry, understated humor, and Hardwicke gets lively, authentic performances from her young cast, even when they’re standing on northwestern U.S. moors and saying Bronte-ish stuff like, “That was the first night I dreamt of Edward Cullen.” Yes, she says “dreamt.”

What’s wrong with that?  I say “dreamt”.

  1. obviously pattinson forgot about the twilight debut, his alarm clock didn’t go off or something, and promptly left without time to change, shave and brush his hair. while Kristen arrived earlier but had trouble finding a park for her harley. that acounts for the windswept hair and leather jacket and the cool biker tough expression and stance.
    🙂 lol
But i can’t fault her as it really does look quite good, Pattinson didn’t really do himself any favours, the whole world knows that 3/4 of the female population loves him, but i’m thinking he’s now experimenting on how daggy can he look before they all decide that he’s not hot anymore.
hmmm interesting, but if love is blind, i’m sure infatuation is ten times worse. 🙂

  2. Lol – so true! I was thinking that maybe Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are trying to look as little like Edward and Bella as possible. After all, there are plenty of people out there who delude themselves into thinking that actors really ARE the characters they play.

This isn’t really relevant but did anyone see those pictures of Kristen and her boyfriend smoking a pipe? I did, and when I saw them I thought, “Stupid girl!” Not for smoking (whatever it was they were smoking) but for thinking that people wouldn’t notice. She must know that people are Twilight-obsessed and therefore are watching her every move.
